Andreas Oetker-Kast (* 1964) ist freiberuflicher Fotograf, wohnhaft in Kiel. Nach dem Studium der Soziologie hatte er sich für eine Karriere in einer internationalen Public-Relations-Agentur entschieden, zuerst sechs Jahre in Deutschland, dann zweieinhalb Jahre in den U.S.A.. Seit 2003 lebt er wieder in Deutschland, 2004 folgte der Einstieg in die professionelle Fotografie mit Spezialisierung auf dokumentarische Fotografie und Musik. Von 2006-2009 war er Seminarteilnehmer an der Ostkreuz-Schule für Fotografie, Berlin, zuerst unter der Leitung von Michael Trippel (2006), von Mai 2007 bis 2009 unter Werner Mahler.
Seit 2006 sind freie Arbeiten und Projekte in Einzel- und Gruppenausstellungen sowohl in Deutschland als auch international ausgestellt und als Katalog oder Buch publiziert worden.
Andreas Oetker-Kast (*1964) is a freelance photographer based in Kiel, Germany. Following his studies in sociology he pursued a career in international public relations, for six years in Germany followed by two years in the United States. Upon his return to Germany in 2003 he turned to professional photography in 2004, specializing in documentary and music photography. He was participating in seminars at the Ostkreuz School of Photography, Berlin from 2006-2009, first under the guidance of Michael Trippel (2006) followed by Werner Mahler (May 2007-2009).
Since 2006 his work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Germany and internationally and was published in books and catalogs.
