wunderland image in Seattle
Great news: one image of wunderland, the first part of the project, was chosen for the 16th Annual Photo Competition Exhibition of the Photo Center Northwest (PCNW) in Seattle. The group exhibition was curated by Karen Irvine, Curator of the Museum of Contemporary Photography, Columbia College Chicago, and will be open from 08/05/2011 until 10/12/2011 at the PCNW in Seattle.
Georgia on my mind
May 2011 I was invited to participate in a group exhibition in Tbilisi, Georgia - now you can meet some of the wonderful friends and get some impressions of the environment in portfolio. It was an unforgettable experience - and maybe the beginning of a new project ... .

My new project wonderland is born. Well actually, it is the second part to wunderland and although no photo is made yet, the project got a head start with a blog: www.andreasok.com/wonderland. So I invite you all to accompany us on this road trip across America from 07/08 until 08/31/2011. And once we're back home the preparations for our first exhibition in Kiel, Germany, will start - for which, by the way, we could still use some help. ELBJAZZ 2011, Hamburg
The ELBJAZZ Festival 2011 Hamburg will present my music project in the beautiful gallery Dock 56, curated by Claus Friede. The exhibition will open May 19th and will then be open to the public from May 20th-31st, wednesdays to saturdays, from 1pm to 7pm.

Tbilisi, Georgia
May 09th until May 16th 2011 I'm invited to take part in the Tbilisi First International Exhibition of Digital and Photographic Art, which is organized at the Georgian National Museum / Tbilisi Museum, Sioni Str. 8 (Karvasla Building) in Tbilisi, Georgia. This group exhibition has the theme Europe - In Search of New Identity and I will show images of my wunderland-project.
